Smart Brain an International organization was established 14 years back in Thailand. Smart Brain Pakistan signed contract with Thailand in April, 2012. It opened its first centre in Islamabad in June, 2012 and within this duration it has expanded to almost every city of Pakistan i.e. Rawalpindi, Kashmir, Karachi, Wahcantt, and Peshawar. It has also formally commenced its programmes in various well- renowned schools and is going to launch it franchises at other cities of Pakistan very soon.
Smart Bain Pakistan is working for the development of educational sector. It considers children aptitude and builds their interest towards studies through Mental Arithmetic and STEM. Mental arithmetic is a mathematical course which is taught by Japanese instrument Abacus, anciently named as “Soroban”. It is a magical instrument with the sharp edge of mathematical skills. It has eight modules and each module is based on three months duration. STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) is a programme based on two training courses i.e. Electronics and Robotics. In Electronics various projects are prepared on “Snap Circuits” and in Robotics programming is taught on “Lego NXT Mind Storm kit”. STEM’s main purpose is to enable a child to understand the theoretical concepts of science, mathematics and engineering. For children it is very informative and attractive as it constructs the passion of science in them.
However, Smart Brain mission is to facilitate every child of Pakistan with this learning edge skill. Thus, the students who go through these courses could observe a great change in their intellectual skills.
